Keliy Anderson-Staley, Jeff , 2010, Wetplate Collodion Tintype

Saturday, June 25, 1:00-5:30pm **SOLD OUT**

Come and have your portrait made! Become a part of photographer Keliy Anderson-Staley's ongoing portrait series when she sets up a tintype studio in The Print Center's garden. Tintypes are unique photographic images exposed directly onto blackened metal, and were the leading mode of photography in the 1850's and 1860's.

The Philadelphia area once had many commercial portrait studios, and this event honors that history while celebrating the current role antiquated processes are playing in contemporary practice. Both metal plates and digital prints of the images will be available for a fee.
